Terms of Use

Last updated September 25, 2026

These terms cover your use of the FlameCut desktop app and the website at flamecut.studio. By installing or using FlameCut, you agree to these terms.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use FlameCut on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

Your account

You sign in with Google or Microsoft and must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Your content

You keep all rights to your videos and projects, and you must have the rights to the content you edit. You allow us to process the audio and project data the app sends us only to provide FlameCut, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Credits and refunds

Transcription and cut suggestions use credits that you buy in advance. Credits never expire while FlameCut is offered, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.

If FlameCut shuts down

If we stop offering FlameCut for any reason, including the closure, sale or bankruptcy of the business, we will let you know at least 30 days in advance so you can use your remaining credits. Unused credits will not be refunded, except where the law requires it.

Acceptable use

Do not use FlameCut to break the law, infringe the rights of others, or disrupt or abuse our servers. We may suspend accounts that do.

Updates and changes

FlameCut updates itself automatically. We may change features or these terms. We will update the date at the top of this page and let you know about significant changes in the app or by email before they take effect.

Disclaimer and liability

FlameCut is provided "as is". AI transcriptions and cut suggestions can be wrong, so review your edits before publishing.

To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
